GLEN BIRKWOOD

Glen is currently Chairman and Editor of the Seaxe Club having joined the Committee at the end of 2016 season. The final 34 years of his working life were with Pirelli, Bridgestone then Uniroyal in sales management. His main sporting activity, having reduced the amount of cricket he played, was golf. He spent 12 years on the Board of Directors at Coombe Wood G.C. also serving as their Captain and Chairman. He left the golf club in early 2014 when the game was starting to hurt and the handicap was starting to climb. Following Middlesex CCC then became his main sporting activity. Glen is married to Jenny, having just celebrated our Golden Wedding. Glen has one daughter and two cricket obsessed grandsons who have also joined MCCC. His aim is to grow the Seaxe Club and thereby increase its influence and support within the county of Middlesex.
