KEITH MACRAE
COMMITTEE

Keith joined the Committee in 2017, with a keen interest in development and recognition of cricketing talent. He hoped that organisational and communication skills gained from work in management of large oil and gas or infrastructure projects, including Britain’s first high speed rail line, would also be beneficial. Voluntary experience includes rugby club match-day management and event organisation, plus committee work for an RAF Airfield Association and as President of a charitable society. Born into a cricket following family from Edinburgh, an early memory is holding a grandparent’s hand and asking what some men, dressed in white, were doing - The answer “cricket.” His late wife Hilary’s passion for sport and cricket rekindled interest in the game and they joined Middlesex CCC, quickly becoming enthusiastic supporters. After starting to lead MCCC New Member tours in 2010, the invitation to join the Seaxe Committee seemed a natural progression in giving something back.
