PETER JACKSON

PRESIDENT

Presently acting Secretary of the Club having been Treasurer for 11 years previously. A 37 year career in Barclays Bank during which time Peter played first team football and cricket for the Sports Club, also refereeing in the Southern Amateur League. On retiring from the bank Peter ran his own management consultancy for 17 years and was also a volunteer with the Metropolitan Police. He was elected to membership of the MCC in 1986 and has been a member of Middlesex CCC for over twenty-two years. He lives in Chalfont St Giles, is married to Jennifer and has two daughters and a Downs Syndrome son. Hobbies included motorcycling, golf and playing the guitar, but participation is considerably less since losing the sight in one eye in February 2021. He is treasurer of his golf club Seniors Section and also his golf society, which will celebrate its centenary this year. Peter is organising the celebration lunch at the Union Jack Club in June.
