The Seaxe Club made a donation to national youth cricket programmes within Middlesex during the lunch interval on Day 2 of the Warwickshire County Championship match. The official presentation of a cheque for £4,500 was made in front of the Lord’s Pavilion by Club President, Peter Jackson, and Chair, Glen Birkwood, on 20 September, as pictured.
The money will be used to offer bursaries for children who would otherwise not be able to in these difficult times, the chance to take part in the All Stars and Dynamos Cricket programmes run by the County Club across London.
Middlesex Cricket expressed most sincere thanks, on their website, to everyone at the Seaxe Club for their continued support of youth cricket through these generous donations.
